Mongrel's Club
The Mongrel Club is an honorary group recognizing mobile library operators across Australia. The Mongrel's club consists of all holders of the mobile library operators of the year award and those who have made a significant contribution to mobile library services. Awards are given out at the annual Mobile Library Muster and recipients not only receive entry into this exclusive club but they also get a T shirt!
Mobile Library Operator of the Year 2009
This year the award was made to Kate Tucker and John Branton of Murrindindi Library Service in recognition of the magnificent work done by them (and other Murrindindi Library staff) in assisting the community to commence the recovery process following the disastrous bushfires in February 2009.
