Services over 1,000 people per cycle.
It operates on a two-weekly cycle, visits 37 different locations over a
distance of 180 km each cycle and provides library services to people who
are geographically isolated or without transport.
The Mobile Library Service commenced in
1949.
Features of the current Mobile
Library include:
- Online access to the Libraries computer system (Amlib)
- two extendable modules - one a staff work area and the
other a technology area
- a hydraulic lift to assist access for the aged or
disabled
- access to public computers including the Internet
- staff toilet.

North Eastern NSW with 2 weekly and 14 fortnightly stops. |

Upper Clarence Regional Library
The mobile library serves the areas of Richmond Valley and
Kyogle Council areas. Approx 6,000 sp kms. Serves 19 communities/schools
during a fortnightly schedule with 7 of these receiving a weekly visit. |
