C.P.L.G. of Victoria

Mobile Muster 2006

was held on  Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 October 2006 at the Ballarat Lodge, 613 Main Road, Ballarat  VIC  3350

MOBILE OPERATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD

Download the form to nominate the best mobile driver of the year to create a new Mongel Club member. - the ultimate 'honour' for excellence in mobile library operation.

I can report that the Mobile library conference hosted by CPLG was a resounding success. Attendees reported that expectations were met with a high proportion of evaluation responses recording "excellent" in all areas.

What can I say!

I extend my thanks to Vicki Traynor, Julie Rae and Margaret Smith for their hard work in getting this years national conference planned, and executed in a very efficient and friendly way.

60 people attended from NZ, SA, VIC, NSW and of course QLD (who could miss them!).

Ballarat Lodge looked after us all on the Friday night for drinks through to the final lunch on the Sunday.

Rigs were brought to the conference by 6 libraries (Upper Murray, Yarra Plenty, Geelong, Central Highlands, Hume, and West Gippsland) with 8 units on show representing products from SVM, Brimarco and TM.

There was even a convoy formed of 6 trucks that rolled out of Ballarat all the way back to Melbourne after the conference. Great marketing for mobiles. View convoy video

It is Victoria's turn to nominate a driver for the "Mobile Mongrel Award"..... It's a QLD term you see......One of the roles(if you win the award) is the expectation that you will be available to mentor other drivers in your state....or you might just be highly regarded by your community.

So pls consider nominating one of your drivers (or more). See above for details.

Applications close 30th November 2006.

We look forward to reading the citations!

In Michael’s high energy, interactive and very practical presentations, he demystifies what leaders, managers, business owners and professionals need to do to become resilient to pressure in today's fast paced business world.
